EGEL hosted Dr Abdullah Almajed from King Saud University, Riyadh for a brief visit in August. Dr Almajed met with Professors Santamarina and Hoteit, and toured both the ANPERC and Core Laboratories. He also presented his seminar, entitled
Enzyme Induced Carbonate Precipitation (EICP) For Soil Improvement. We are particularly thankful to Dr Almajed (and to all our guests) for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend time with our Research Scientists, Postdocs and Students.
