EGEL hosts Professor Rick Chalaturnyk

EGEL recently hosted Professor Rick Chalaturnyk, CMG Chair in Reservoir Geomechanics and Professor, Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada. Professor Chalaturnyk presented his seminar to ANPERC students and researchers, describing his group’s research in the areas of 3D Printing for Geosciences, Geological Storage of CO2 with emphasis on Aquistore and Virtual Rock Mass (VRM) Mechanical Lab for inclusion of DFN in large scale reservoir-geomechanical coupled simulations. He also spent time with ANPERC faculty and EGEL research team members.
