Successful Research Expedition to the Red Sea

Our group continued its strong collaboration with the Red Sea Research Center, with another successful research expedition to the Red Sea. Research Scientist Dr Marco Terzariol, Postdoctoral researcher Dr Xunchang Fei, and Ph.D student Marisol Salva Ramirez collected a wide variety of unique seafloor sediments. The chemical, biological and geomechanical analysis of these samples will provide new insights into this previously unstudied seeps, their source, composition, and local geo-plumbing.
